6" Lift anyone use Bilstein 5100 shocks

Hey guys,
So I have a 78 K20 with a 6 inch lift. Pretty sure the leaf springs are on their last leg and I don't like the blocks in the rear so I am going to get new springs all around.
For now I want to start by replacing the shocks as thats what i can afford right now. Im thinking 5100 all around but I have been looking around the board and have seen mention of 5125 on the rear.

Can anyone set me straight when it comes to which shocks to buy?

Thanks

I have 5100s on my truck. Great shocks. If you go to OffRoadDesigns or ORD website, they will break it down for you to exactly what shock to buy for what size lift you have. Then you can find them online for a good price. I bought mine from 4wheelparts. My 5100's were istalled with new springs also. Good ride for my 3/4 ton. Im happy

I also have the 5100's on my Blazer....much improved!

I do think that the 5125's only offer 90 day warranty...so check into that before purchasing. I also put the 5100's on my 3/4 Yukon XL....better ride than factory "AutoRide" at a fraction of the price!

bilstein 5100s are totally worth the extra ~25$ per corner over a standard 'white shock' (skyjacker, rancho, explorer pro comp, etc.)

I have the Bilstein shocks and struts under my Toyota 4 Runner. I know, I know---but it makes a good deer dinging, Bubba Bumpin work truck and it runs good.

I raised my Toy 2" and put on new springs and Bilstein shocks all around. This thing rides smooth and handles real well for a narrow tracked vehicle. I got my stuff through Wheelers Offroad and they were the cheapest that I could find.

I have them on my crewcab with a 4" lift. they are great, but a little bit stiffer than parts store stuff. no problems with them.

I guess I'm the exception, I've tried them twice and dislike them, much too harsh and stiff, had much better experiences with KYB. These were on a 05 4x4 Dually ..
