Re: whats the best plug wires
On the race engines we run Moroso. Use the sets that you have to cut and we build them to suit the engine header combo.

Re: whats the best plug wires
I use MSD Super Conductors. Cut to fit of course.

Re: whats the best plug wires
Most ignition systems HATE solid core wires. MSD and Mallory both are specific to say warrantee void if you use a solid core wire.
For me Taylor wire kits or MSD wire kits are my 'go to' wires for most everything. I did buy one "Scott Performance" wire kit some 8 years ago and am still using them with the MSD Digital 7 (7530T box) I got a smoking deal on a hand built custom wire kit installed from a guy that was wanting to start an outlet doing nothing but ignitions. Beautiful work, EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY wires and accessories (seperators, looms fireboots etc) ,, but $ was more than most would consider 'reasonable' .

Re: whats the best plug wires
well if GAS says he has had no problems with the MSD wires I should look into those. Marv.. guess I'm lost in the 70,s by using the solid core. back then if it was not solid core it was junk I need to get caught up to the late 80,s lol

I run the Taylor sleeved Thundervolt race wires with heat boots on the ends.

Re: whats the best plug wires
I run Taylor cut to fits on pretty much everything. Stick with Taylor, Moroso or MSD and you should be in good shape. I only use cut to fit wires. Ignition wires that look like a rats nest drive me nuts.

Re: whats the best plug wires
I do have to admit that I have used Taylor wires before and like them just as well as the MSD's.
I started using MSD wires when I started using MSD's digital ignition systems. Gary
