the jacks are different from 4x4 to 2wd? cool! ok - & what ARE the two lug wrenches for? I assume you put the straight one onto the jack & attach it to the "speed handle" to lift the truck right?

I have a 71 with all of these items too, but I think that they are worthless on my truck now that it is lowered, no ?

If I remember right, these trucks were made on the tail end of production split rims? Maybe the straight lug wrench was for taking the tire and ring off the rims? Not sure, just guessing?

Based on my experience, I wouldn't count on that original to get your truck off the ground unless you're prepared to crank it for a good while. It's not the quickest little jack around!

I have a bottle jack in my truck now, and I can't get it under the front to lift it if I have a flat. Might have to do something about that...hmmm..

Are there any small, low profile jacks that would help me out?

passthebuck, I posted to your parts post also but I think the jack I have is same pictured here with the exception my jack has a curved "saddle" at the end of the jack to fit the axle? Will dig it out and post a pic here and on the parts board so you may compare. Will try and get pics up tonight if I can find it quick enough.
