How to change
I can't seem to get anything to reach down in the area of the oil pressure switch to remove it. Is there a trick or special tool to do the job? thinking of paying the local shade tree $35 just to avoid the hassle.

Re: How to change
Not 100% sure, but I believe it is easier to reach from the bottom.

Re: How to change
I'm pretty sure "Snap On" makes a special socket for this job. You could probably find a cheaper one if you shop around.

Re: How to change
Autozone carries their Duralast brand of the same socket, I think they're 6 or eight bucks.

Re: How to change
Bought 3 so called oil pressure switch sockets, none fit the one on the truck now. All fit the duralast one I picked up for $9...the one on the truck does seem huge in comparison to the old one. So damn aggravated with it all, thinking about paying a mechanic $50 to do it.
Just randomly ranting.

Re: How to change
I believe I got one out once by heating up and bending a cheap combination wrench so it would work in that tight area. Your right, these sending units are not to a great location.....
