Rear wheel hub bearings to grease or not to grease

So I am changing my rear hub bearings on a Dana 60 rear end. I read that you should not grease the bearings before installing them as they are lubricated by the differential fluid once the wheels get going. Seems like a scary idea to me but what do I know?
Can someone weigh in on this?

Do not grease them you will not get your end play correct as soon as the hot gear oil washed the grease away you will have to much end play and will damage the bearings

I always jack up the rear end on the side with the fill plug fill it with a little extra oil then pull it up on dirt bank around the yard on both side and let it set for a little bit then check the level
