Short bed for sale?? where can I find?

I am planning on switching my longbed back to a shortbed. I am currently getting my truck painted. The Body shop took my 8 ft bed off. It really is in good shape. A little wavy when looking down the sides. But overall very good. But I do know that this is not the original bed from 1985 the truck came with. Because after removing the bed there are weld marks where they added on to the frame at one point. So this gave me the idea to try and find a short bed and convert back! But now the hard part...I need to find a bed that needs very minimal body work and basically rust free. Any ideas??? Thanks in advance

Your going to have to take a road trip. Locate one out of the rust zone and save a LOT of work. Search Craigslist for best results.

Re: Short bed for sale?? where can I find?

Ok we can squash this thread lol. after further internet research. I have determined I have the 127" wb and not the 115". Therefore the weld marks really confuse me now. But furthermore I will b stuck with a longbed....

I might be missing something but the numbers I see are 117.5" short bed, 131.5" long bed. I know there are some unusual lengths available as C&C but I thought they were longer than a normal long bed.
