18x9.5s up front

I have a 71 2wd with a 350-th350 combination. Anyway I am thinking about going the pro touring look with it and wondering if anyone has put a 9.5 inch wheel up front. Thinking about a 275 something for tires all the way around. Right now I have 15x10 with 295/50s out back and 15x8 with 255s up front. thanks in advance

Re: 18x9.5s up front

Over on the www.pro-touring.com site, there's a guy with 18x9.5s on all four corners with 295/40/18 tires. He says it works pretty good. That's the same combo I want to run on my truck eventually.

Re: 18x9.5s up front

awesome. Thank You. I was looking at us mag rambler 18x9.5 with 5.25 back spacing. They were talking 5.5 back space so it would just sit in a hair more. I saw some pictures on there it looked great. I hope I don't run out of funding. Wanting to put a/c in it also so I can drive the crap out of it this summer. Busy putting an engine back together now. Thanks again

Yeah, I've considered the Rambler myself. The backspacing is wrong, though. They do offer the same wheel in a two-piece design with custom offsets. They're obviously more expensive that way, though.
