BBC fan shroud
BBC fan shroud, no cracks and I good shape other than it appears to have been cut back toward the engine/fan side for clearance. I didn't notice that until another board member pointed it out. If it was cut back it was done very well and super straight. $25 plus shipping. Thanks

Re: BBC fan shroud
The top and bottom to the seam is 1". It widens around the sides, 1.25" around the top side and 1.5" at it's widest point. You sure yours was cut? If it wasn't I'm interested.
You lost me when you said it was cut for the fan. If I understand you correctly, the entire well facing the engine was cut. Shouldn't be any reason to cut it for original.

Looks like I'm a dummy! The part # is visible and I stand corrected. Thanks for all the info from everyone.

Re: BBC fan shroud
I will take it if 71CHEVYSHORTBED402 passes. Would you happen to be going to the swap meet in Nashville TN this weekend so I could pick it up there?

Re: BBC fan shroud
I really appreciate your integrity! I don't like to pass up extra money but considering your fairness I'm ok with the original price. It's been sitting in my garage for over a year so I'd like to see someone get some use from it. I should be able to get your shipping quote in the morning.
Thanks again, Mike |

Re: BBC fan shroud
If I pull the trigger, then I've got an idea to square things up a bit. Thanks for the good gesture.
Shipping a shroud isn't cheap, ask me how I know? That shroud provided me a valuable lesson. I figured fixed price $25 shipping on Fee Bay, based on what I had originally paid. The buyer was in OK. The shroud wasn't quite what I was looking for. From this angle, yours is nicer.

Re: BBC fan shroud
I boxed up the fan shroud very securely and got a quote from UPS, $29.00 for ground. It was almost double to send it via USPS. Just let me know if you want it.
Thanks again, Mike |

Re: BBC fan shroud
Sounds good to me. The one I spoke of was nearly $50. Destination must have been the middle of nowhere. You take Paypal? I'll pay the fees of course. If you would, send me a PM...........Thank you

Re: BBC fan shroud
Good price on your shroud. These usually go for $75-$120 dollars. I sold one earlier last summer, had to ship it U.S.P.S. shipping was $45 going U.P.S. meant a 60 mile round trip to go that way. Glad to see you got a decent shipping quote.
