Steering coupler

Im trying to replace the steering rag joint coupler on my blazer. I got it off and purchased the dorman brand. It looks identical but it will not go in. Does anybody sell the correct coupler for these trucks?

What is the deal with these ragjoints? I purchased the dorman 31015 and didnt fit. Looks to be the right size but it would just not go into the shaft. I had to open it up to the point there were stress cracks in it and it still barely fit. I had to scrap it. I have called everyone and nobody seems to have anything available. I can't be the only one that has ever tried replacing one of these on a 70 blazer? Does everyone just rebuild them? Anybody have a source to get these at? Its for a 1970 blazer with power steering.
Thanks

Re: Steering coupler

Contact CPP here in SOCAL, they have billet steering joints that replace the rag-joint.

I bought a restored one from this gentleman when redid my gearbox. I think he had some NOS ones at the time also but obviously the price was $$. The restored one looks great and is tight !
