battery hold down pics
Does the OE battery hold down use 2 j bolts? I bought on a few months ago, and I thought it only used one j bolt and the other loop on the hold down uses a bolt for the core support cover. Can soneone pist a good closeup of the hold down and bolts please?
First pic is my new hold down Second pic is my current setup Thanks |

Re: battery hold down pics
It should have 2 J-bolts. A short one up front that hooks into a hole in the core support. That hole is somewhat hidden by the battery once installed. And a longer J-bolt at the back like you already have.

I be-live it is one short J bolt (772 above) in the core support and one long in the rear bracket #949 above

Re: battery hold down pics
Thanks guys. The exploded drawings help a lot. I never noticed the hole in the core support will have to look for it.

Re: battery hold down pics
Please post your dimensions when this project's done. I have no hold down hardware, and can fab stuff at work.
