Will this shock relocation bracket work?

These brackets are listed on CPP as front upper shock relocators. I picked up a pair and then thought they might work well on the rear as well. My problem though is that I'm not sure these are suck a good idea, wouldn't the shocks bind due to the angle at which the shock is mounted between the plates? The shock mounting bolt won't be on the same axis of travel as the shock itself!
