RideTech level 1

Does anyone have personal experience with the ridetech level 1 kit? I'm seriously thinking about buy it. I'm not trying to debate cost vs other kits I'm just looking for factual information and opinion on the kit itself. Pictures of the truck aired out would be awesome! I'm running 20" wheels and tires and will not cut or raise the bed floor. Thanks!

From my personal experience if its anything more than a show only truck ride height sensors are a must. Pressure based systems are junk IMO

The level 1 kit you are looking at will get you as low as you can go without cutting the bed or removing inner fenders.

In this picture the truck has 18" Fronts and 20" rears. It is using a drop spindle as well but we have 1.5 inch bumpstop installed so that the tires don't hit the fender well. So with the level one it will sit basically the same as shown at full deflate not using drop spindles.

This is as low as you can get on 20's with a factory front inner fender & factory bed floor....

JWall I'm really torn between the RideTech kit and the Ekstensive kit.

I have drop spindles already. I like the front but wish the rear was a little lower.

If you are looking for a more straight forward pre designed bolt on kit with instructions the ridetech kit would be the route to go. I've worked on & rode in trucks with their rear kit & they are nice parts!

My rear kit isn't an Ekstensive made kit. Mine has a modified version of an preexisting notch, fabricated a pan hard bar that had to go in front of my rearend instead of behind due to K5 gas tank, different bag placement, etc.

I'm not too concerned about the install because I've got a guy that owes me labor so I'm having him do it. With the ekstensive kit he was going to modify the notch and bridge to it sits right below the bed floor. The ekstensive kit besides being less expensive also comes with 2 compressors and a larger tank which makes me wonder how quick the response is on the ridetech kit.

Had I planned better before I rhino lined the bed I wouldn't care but now it's kinda hard to cut and weld the bed now. What should I expect from the single compressor and 3 gallon tank?

It will work with the 3 gallon setup, but I would suggest the 5 gallon tank and dual compressors. Going with the larger tank and compressor setup will decrease the run time of your compressors and it makes the lift more efficient. If you don't have room for the 5 gallon, I can swap them around for 2 three gallon tanks.
