Re: Tim's 71 cheyenne lwb
some more information about the truck and myself, my name is Tim, ive been into automotive for many years im 27 years old, i also work on saabs, i have my own shop for personal use (my playground) and have had numerous 73-87 square bodies. i picked up this 71 for under $1k, instantly fell in love with the nostalgic body lines. I believe this generation is the true staple of what a American pickup should consist of. Pics above are a bit mismatched, but that's because ive been lazy about posting on forums. It's -10 degrees here in buffalo and that's why I'm sitting here.
plans with this truck is to have a stock appearing trim appearance, nice set of wheels, air bags, and i don't care about creature comfort. i have been working on this truck for the past 3 months, enjoying every minute. |

Re: Tim's 71 cheyenne lwb
truck is a 71 cheyenne, missing original RPO codes, has a 350 Chevy/350 trans.
i have all the trim, i also acquired factory accessory bumper guards, and a whole lot of parts needed to bring this beauty back to good shape. this truck is most definitely going to be driven by next summer, i work on it here and there 1 hour or 2 at a time, its cold and i use diesel to heat my shop. p.s i will post more pics sporadically as time goes on. thanks for the hospitality |

Nice build! Any quirks you found when using the por 15? I just stripped my frame down to nothing and I am looking to use por 15 as well!
