Some of the products I use on my show truck

I thought this might be the ideal place to share the products I use on my truck, at shows I have got a lot of questions on the products I use so I thought I would share the love!
I started using Adams Polishes on my truck as we were finishing the build process, I had the aluminum exhausts tips made, the type of aluminum they were did not want to polish up at all 2000g wet sand and numerous parts store "metal" polish wouldn't do the trick. Adams Metal polish 1&2 had them to a mirror finish in about 2 minutes, it was incredible. That was what sold me on their products and has been my go to since.

I actually met Adam himself at a show, super nice guy and more then willing to go out of his way to help get you what you need. They have a really good website with instructional videos on how to use all of their products, and a great forum as well.

I'll keep this thread up and rolling with some of the products I use on the truck, as I'm getting ready to do some polishing today on it to remove some issues.

I am hooked on Adams stuff! I pretty much only use Adams stuff now. Like you said the metal polish is amazing! I love the Brillant Glaze & Detail spray too!

What do you think of the tire shine (spray bottle)? I like the VRT but havent used the spray kind.

Yes it's good stuff!

I have used both and both work great!!
The VRT gives a nice dark black clean look and holds up well.
The yellow spray on Tire Shine works well, it's what I've been using on the C-10. I spray it directly onto a hex grip tire applicator and wipe on, it give a nice black, low gloss applied that way. If you want more shine, spray directly onto the tire and let dry and it will give a glossy finish.

Re: Some of the products I use on my show truck

Yesterday I hit the truck with some of Adams Paint correction and Finishing polish. I had a few scuffs and swirls to remove. Tonight I'll hit it with a coat of Brilliant Glaze and then top it off with some Americana paste wax for a little protection.

Even with my truck being a trailer queen since it has been finished, you would not believe what the clay bar pulled off the finish.

Re: Some of the products I use on my show truck

Here's the after, I pulled them off the truck, did the Barrell as well, it only took about 10 minutes per wheel and the difference is incredible. After I used a microfiber to remove the polish, I took a clean micro fiber and some Adam's detail spray to remove any residual polish left over.

A good shot of what the in&out spray does for vinyl.

Re: Some of the products I use on my show truck

Yesterday I put a leveling kit on my wife's Tahoe and decided to give it a good detail. I am very impressed with the Adams Products!!! I've never saw a white vehicle have so much shine, I used the clay bar on it and went over it all with the H2O Guard and Gloss. It looks like something you should have spent all day shining and polishing but didn't take very long at all...

Re: Some of the products I use on my show truck

I've developed my own eclectic mix of favorites over the years as well:

Favorite wax (since the 80s, no less!) -- Meguiar's Hi-Tech Yellow Wax #26
Quick shine -- Meguiar's Quik Detailer
Finish restoration -- Meguiar's Deep Crystal system
Vinyl, tire, and bumper trim protectant -- 303 Aerospace protectant w/ UV inhibitors (THIS stuff kept my original dash in my '86 Chevy Suburban intact until the day I sold it. Not bad for a 22 year old truck!)
Underhood, frame, and suspension anticorrosion tx -- Boeshield T-9 Developed for aircraft, but excellent on boats and on A/C lines, etc.
Glass cleaner -- GM / Delco glass cleaner This is the best non-streaking cleaner I've ever used. I even used it in the home!
Chrome/brightwork polish -- Flitz Awesome stuff on everything from auto to boat to firearms.

These items are my go to products and have served me quite well over the years. :-)

While at a show a adams dealer buff a black car in 90% heat with humidity, he did half of the hood you could really see the difference, when he was done the whole car was flawless and the sun cooked him.
