Looking for new steel paintable headlight trim bezels for 66 c10 grill all I can find is chrome. Any info is apprenticed.

I've not seen any repros other than chrome.

However you should be able to paint them with a little extra work.

I helped my brother do this to a bumper and it turned out great.

Just make extra sure you use a mask when sanding chrome.

Other option is to find some NOS or pull from scrap yard.

Why do they need to be new? Are used ones OK if nice?

NOTHING has to be new. If you find a decent used pair of bezels, buy them.

Thanks guys, im looking for new because i want to strip to bare metal and clear them, all the sets i have are pitted when you strip the paint.

If you want new then you're going to have to get chrome ones and have the chrome stripped from them. Any chrome shop can do that.
