Thumbs up On the road again

Hello!

after about a year of being apart (baby's just take too much time, am I right?), I got the truck back to driving condition and went for a cruise today. ya!

This mini project consisted of removing the bed, changing ring and pinion from 4:10 to 3:54 and general frame cleanup. It's amazing how much quieter the bed is when more than two bolts are holding it on and also amazing how loud it is with no mufflers. :-)

Thought I'd share a couple pics.

Cheers!

I don't understand how you can drive it with the front tire tucked. I'm fighting massive wheel well scrub and LOL I'm not as tucked. Hmm can't tell how narrow your track width is though.

Re: On the road again

must be pretty narrow, b/c I have not had an issue at all with scrubbing. I cut two coils from the front springs. Thinking of putting some bags and lowering spindles in front so I can drive with peace of mind that I have some decent suspension travel.
