Van tilt lower steering column bearing
Hi I am having a real hard time finding a part number for a Van tilt lower steering column bearing. Mine is a 1980 and the lower bearing inside diameter is 3/4 in not 1 inch. Anyone know where I could find one it would be appreciated.
Thanks |

Re: Van tilt lower steering column bearing
There is a guy on ebay who has them. They are for the 3/4" shaft. I can't find the listing right now but he sometimes doesn't renew the listing right away.

You mean this one?
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/67-72-Chevy-P...VWXGoC&vxp=mtr It will be around $150 for a bearing to get up here. Little to pricey If that's the case I think I'll keep looking |

Re: Van tilt lower steering column bearing
It's all good just looking for a cheaper alternative maybe they can interchange with a newer bearing or that sort of thing. A GM part number would be a good start I checked out Napa and the dealerships but they were no help.

Re: Van tilt lower steering column bearing
Most vendors here have the bearing. I paid around $30 for the bearing I don't know about shipping to Canada.
