Antifreeze spraying out!
OK got the truck running, all it took was most of my saved funds. Anyway, heater is disconnected and water pump I installed a few years back doesn't have a connection point for the hose. The hose connection on the intake manifold, tried sealing it with silicone and a hose with a bolt in it and a hose clamp, still decorated the engine bay with lime green.

Re: Antifreeze spraying out!
Prong for hose on intake manifold is frozen on. So removing it isn't an option.

Re: Antifreeze spraying out!
Can you just take the plug out of the water pump, install a hose barb, and hook the heater back up?

Re: Antifreeze spraying out!
It looks like that hose is way too big for that fitting.

Re: Antifreeze spraying out!
the heater core is probably bad if it was disconnected.

Re: Antifreeze spraying out!
You need a line to the heater from the intake as this is the pressure side of the system. Probably 3/4" hose. The return from the heater is 5/8" and goes either to the rad or into the water pump. There is no pressure from the fittings on the water contrary to what it looks. Been there done that. Remove leaky fittings and replace as they are probably corroded.
