1962 cab swap question

I bought a 1962 chevy truck last week after looking at the frame real good I noticed the po had chopped it up so bad I don't want to use it.my question is will my 62 cab fit on a 64 65 66 frame there are a few of these local to me for cheap.

yes, but you will have to drill holes for the front cab mounts, they are in a different spot. the rear mounts line up.
there are a few other minor differences- the grill support has cut outs for the 63 -66 frame, the e/brake will mount different, the box mounts are different. 62 has spilt steering column, etcetera...
this is a doable project, but you would want to have both trucks for the duration of the swap, so you can utilize the correct pieces from each one.
