Don't have a clue!
Ok first off I'm a new member. But have owned 4 of these square body chevys. But I'm having some issues with my latest creation. I bought my grape ape about a year ago it was supposed to be a 1984 swb stepwise 4x4. The exhaust was falling g off. The wiring was patchworked from hell n back. Etc etc. After some much needed tlc I got it on the road. So The title says 84. But. The cab is a 82. The frame I have no clue. N that's my problem. I got six lugs. But I need to know the frame info. What is it??

Re: Don't have a clue!
They could have swapped cabs or some reason like rust or its been wrecked. The a picture of the axles they probably have been swapped.

Re: Don't have a clue!
Welcome to the site. You say the cab is an '82, so are you saying it has an '82 VIN that doesn't match the title? The frames and cabs between those years are no different, so no issue there. Probably a simple cab swap. The only issue I see it registering. Have you gotten tags yet?
