Which Rally wheels?

I'm looking for a set of quality 15x8's for my 76' C10. What brand should I go for?

I like the Wheel Vintiques 33 Series http://www.wheelvintiques.com/33-ser...ye-chrome.html but unfortunately found a lot of negative reviews around different boards.

Re: Which Rally wheels?

My Wheel Vintiques look good on our truck, but the 15x8s are beginning to discolor around the hub. Not orange rust, but the silver paint is turning dark gray and it won't wash off. I should have had them powder coated. I do like them, though. They get a lot of compliments and the discoloration can only be seen if you're really looking hard or washing the wheels. Otherwise, you can't spot it. Not sure how the chrome ones will hold up.

Re: Which Rally wheels?

That's what people are saying in other threads. The painted ones discolor and chrome starts to peel off after a year or two...

Two other options:

US Wheel Series 57 http://www.uswheel.com/collections/c...s/chromerallye

Cragar Series 373 http://www.cragarwheel.com/products1...373ChromeRally

John, my rallys are starting to rust where the ring grips the rim, also replaced the deep trim rings with the narrow ones, like them a lot better as a couple of my deep rings wouldn't fully seat on the rim

Re: Which Rally wheels?

Unless you're stuck on chrome, it's hard to beat OE rally wheels. Those things are tough. I have used several 15x8 sets over the years, and have literally never had one that wobbled. And silver paint is easier to touch up than rust spots poking out through Chinese chrome.

I'm actually considering painted with chrome trim now.
What is the BS measurement on the OE wheels, and where do I find a set in good condition?
