Is it because it's Ochre?

Ebay Auction

I know this is a boardmember's item and it started out @ $25. He must be smiling now .

There must be a lot of hacked dashes out there if it's coming to this.:p

Competing with the "rare" 3 door Suburban will be the "rare" 2 hole dash

Could it be the "Say No To Boz-All" campaign is reaching a critical mass, swinging the momentum to the "Stock and Like a Rock" camp, therefore driving up prices on rare "2-hole" dashes?

Maybe I'll start a "Dump Your Bags" campaign to drive up demand for OE springs.:p

I have been watching that auction, I have one of those in my garage, and wondered what I could get out of it. I probably couldn't get as lucky as he is getting.

I am surprized that none of the vendors have come up with a patch panel for the radio area...you can get them for most cars they people like to restore.

Wow, just two days ago I was at the junk yard and saw two trucks with most of its parts still intact. I removed the radio of one of the truck and brought it home. It would of been nice if the radio said Chevrolet instead of GM on it.

I have one that has GMC on the front of it that was a take out. I did not take it out though (bought on Ebay). So not sure which type of truck it came from. Maybe a larger GMC?

Are you implying its not the "Say No To Boz-All" campaign? I feel personally attacked by such insinuations!

I'd say your MSRP on that item should be $175. I suspect the door bottom patch panels will rocket in price too

Mine is hacked severely at the radio, modified with a hammer by the P.O. Im gonna weld in some flat steel and hack it again. After all, with 80% of the driprails rotted out, why not just pop the top off it too

I love the color, but that is great! Just so there are a couple of buyers around when I list the 4 A/C dashes I have in the barn.

Ochre is my favorite color

When i first got my truck, i hated the color and wanted to paint it bright yellow....after driving it for 3 years i love it

Anyway....that is a good price for the seller of that dash.....i didn't know they were worth that much.....maybe i should get one out of a junkyard for $50 and put it on ebay.....hehe

I ran over one to fit in my trash can last year when I moved to Oregon! It sat for years in my garage. It was puke green and just like new. Still had the glove door and the a/c vents! (kicking myself)

If you wish to add to your Boz-All memorabilia, send $200 to purchase the action figure, complete with working mni Sawz-All. Great for altering the dashes in those Dub City models!

LMAO:p Actually i'm with ya on the hacking of dashes, mine was cut when I bought it and the PO had a damn F**D stereo in the ludicrous sized hole! So I just cut it a little more and added a CD player. If mine werent cut when I got it I would have located the stereo elsewhere.
