What Transmission is the out of?
I have a K 20 72 four speed with 285/75/16 tires with 4:10 rear end. The speedometer shows 8 to 10 miles slow against a GPS speedometer app. This is a 20 tooth driven gear so I bought a 19 tooth driven gear but I guess the driven gear I bought is for a different transmission than what I have.
Could someone take a look at the photo and or tell me what to look for to determine the transmission I have. |

The top one came from a SM 465 that would be in your truck. The bottom one is probably for a 3 speed.

You have a k20? The speedo gear is in the transfer case. Should be a NP205

Yes, I meant to say transfer case, but now I know the I.D. of the transmission and the transfer case.
