Question Cab Mounts

Any body know a good way to get the cab off the frame?
I want to replace my slanting cab mounts and paint the frame
most likely put the master cylinder on the frame.

My haynes manual doesn't say to much about cab removeal.
Where to start????????????

Cheers

If the cab hasn't been stripped, better add 2 trusses and a barrel of Ben-Gay. Add two more guys and, and you can knock off the trusses. Two more, and you can lose the Ben-Gay.

Find some guy with a tractor with a front end loader on it and give him a case of beer. Of Samuel Adams, if necessary. Worth every penny.

use an engine lift attach straps or chain to 4 points inside bottom of cab and pump it up 1 person and drink all the beer your self

Steering column, throttle linkage, e-brake cable, ground straps, wiring harnesses, clutch or auto tranny linkage, speedo cable, heater core hoses.

You may also want to remove your distributer, or at least the cap, in case the cab shifts forward while lifting with cherry picker.

if you attach straps make them as short as possible to keep pickup point as low as you can I had plenty of height. I hooked straps to seat belt points inside back of cab and lower door hinge bolt holes lol
