power steering

I have a 1998 gmc my power steering is hard to turn the right but eazy to turn to left I put a new pump on it still doing the same thing does anyone now what it could be

Doubt it's the gear box. Most likely EVO Sensor located on steering column.
Unhook the connector on the back of the pump and try it.
