64moneypit info site renamed!

A lot of you have accessed this site for years for wiring diagrams and other info for our trucks. Recent events have caused me to make some changes to that site:

FYI: I have changed the domain name of the now legendary information site "64moneypit.pages.qpg. com" to 6066chevytrucks.com
hopefully this will be easier to remember and is more relevant to the site content. The site will be up in a few hours (it's 8:00 central) please let me know if you have any problems accessing it.

Pass it along to your friends and contacts and if you've never been there before, it's a virtual encyclopedia of wiring diagrams for our trucks.

Moderators, please let me know if I'm stepping on toes here. This site is not competition, it's been more like a supplement to your forum for the past 10 years.

Thanks for the reply, I'm sorry for the trouble but as I said - the site isn't up yet. The company that hosts my domain told me a few hours. It should be up sometime today. I probably shouldn't have posted until it was up and running, but I didn't think it would take that long for them to process it.

Not to be rude, but, I noticed only 4 posts in the last 4 years? 0 in 2015, 0 in 2014, 4 in 2013. Just a little curious to the lack of participation on this site.

It's strange. It worked earlier for me but now it either says "page can't be found" or if it connects it's to a different page that redirects to http://sixty7ss.proboards.com/ . That's what factorystock is seeing.

I don't consider it rude at all, it's a valid question - I used to be very active on this site, and before you joined this site I might add. I hosted "Rust NEVER Sleeps", a 60-66 Chevy Truck meet in Vacaville Ca. for 8 years (2002 to 2009). A lot of members of this forum attended them over the years. I was personal friends with a former moderator of this site. I have also been a moderator for ChevyTalk's version of this site for the last 11 years.

Over the past 5 years a lot of changes in my life have forced me to streamline my hobbies. I could barely keep up with my moderator duties on CT. My truck project was put on hold, I had to neglect the 64moneypit site, then I moved out of Northern California and had to discontinue the truck meets.

Things are better now that I am back in my home state of Texas and around family again. Because of that I have started back up the restoration efforts on my '66 and I've started working on my web site again. Y'all will probably start hearing a lot from me in here as well, as I have some pretty ambitious plans for my '66 Custom Camper. With an eager son-in-law and my wife's brother in Waco, it looks like it's going to come together!

Bill, you're going to need to fix the url. in the FAQ thread. Use this: "http://www.6066chevytrucks.com/index.html"

instead of this:"http://www.6066chevytrucks.com/6066chevytrucks.com/index.html"
my web hosting site stuck the extra characters in the original URL for some reason.
