Take Off Tailgate from new truck: Sierra Grande

This is a "True Take Off" TG...Removed from new truck for a big canopy. Never used to haul anything! Of course no dents, dings or damage of any kind. Notice it is a top-of-the-line Sierra Grande/Super with the wood band and Stainless Handle Cover. I will build a wooden crate, pack in shipping blankets, and ship in lower 48.
$1,200 + $200 crating, shipping, insurance.

Re: Take Off Tailgate from new truck: Sierra Grande

In case anyone is concerned about shipping from Frank, don't be. I picked up a tailgate Frank had shipped to Montana for a friend that lives here. The tailgate was wrapped in blankets and the crate was very well made and the lid secured with screws. That tailgate traveled by UPS from Olympia Washington to Kalispell Montana where I picked it up on my way to the West Coast and it rode in the van from Kalispell to Portland Oregon and back home. The tailgate was perfect when the crate was opened. As footnote I just bought a Brake BoosterMaster Cylinder from Frank and he packaged it like was going to be dropped from a building.

Truck porn at it's best!

The applique alone is a 1/3 of the asking price. I know someone out there will grab this. Man, I wish were closer this would be coming home with me.

Here's a bump for ya Frank.
