50 gmc door handles
What is the trick to removing door handles I have outside screw out and window channel removed looks like there is some kind of retaining clip on handle inside door ?

There is no clip but what they do is the shaft gets worn and even twisted and will get caught in the latch. I have had a hell of a time getting them out before but that's all it was.

still confused what holds the handle into the latch i have whole latch loose inside door but handle doesnt come out
