'60 Chevrolet Pickup wipers stop for no reason

Today I was driving the 60 from school and it had been raining over the entire day. So I flip on my wipers and head home. Right when the rain got its worst, my wipers quit and so my mom followed me home slowly with her hazards on. After looking at it a bit, I noticed I didn't have a bad ground or fuse, but that I had no power to the fuse block only for the wipers. Everything else worked great. Just that one electrical port for the wiper wires. I'm not sure what else it could be.

Thanks

Nate

just a guess but is the switch itself tight, mine was loose and it needs to have a good ground at the switch, I tightened mine and solved the problem..or maybe the fuse...

The switch was tight. It also didn't have power to it. I did swap out the fuses and with no luck. Really confusing for me. One second it's working, the next its not. Thanks for the idea.

If you have no or intermitant power to the wiper circuit at the fuse block, remove the fuse block from the firewall and look at the back side. You could have a loose or burned wire that supplies power to the wipers.

I ended out checking that out earlier and had no power at the wires. Where are those wires supposed to go before the fuse block? I'm assuming I must have a loose connection before the block then. Also, is it possible there was some kind of moisture to cause it to short out?
