Hello - 64 C20 in Papillion, NE
Hello everyone, name is Chris but I go by Dirk.
I am just getting back into the old Chevy game and I am starting off with something that I am not all that familiar with, a 1964 Chevrolet C20. It currently has a 350 and 4 on the floor (with granny low). I haven't pulled the numbers off of the rear end yet, but I am thinking it is at least 4.11. I know it is a 3/4 ton and this is where it will possibly become tricky at completing this build as it has already had a lot of work done to it. Things on my list: 1. Remove and relocate gas tank from cab to under the bed, finish work on Cab supports, and add a harness bar w/ harnesses. 2. Adding the Retro style EFI system (already have one) 3. Upgrading the suspension and brakes - HERE'S WHERE I WILL NEED ADVICE! - I want to convert to all disc brakes and change from 8 lug to 5 lug 4. Swap out the 4spd and Rear end for something more highway friendly! - T5 and rear end with 3.73. |

I hate my Iphone! It saves pictures upside down... I will have to find a site that will revert the pictures.
