Suburban inner panel screws
I'm getting ready to send my 65 Suburban out for bodywork and paint in the next couple of months, so I've puuled out all the inber panels etc around the windows. My question is: are the screws that hokd the panels on supposed to have the head painted or left stainless? How did the factory ship out these trucks?
Thanks |

Re: Suburban inner panel screws
Don't know about the 65's but here's a few old shots of my 61 and they look to be painted.

Re: Suburban inner panel screws
Thanks musicman70. I was thinking of painting them just so they blend in. It would probably look like all the panels were "riveted" if I left them stainless.
