Re: I couldn't do it!
I have promised the wife I would contain my addiction to die cast but it just got the best of me!
I'm headed down to Myrtle beach Wedensday for the big car show there will be several Die cast vendors I'm sure. It's going to be hard to stay away from them.

Re: I couldn't do it!
I almost had a red and white 2 tone one from Walmart today .I had it in the cart with 5 gallons of bleach for pressure washing and got to the check out lanes and all were backed up into the main isle .After waiting for a 1/2 hour I finally was next in line behind a couple not from our country to check out .They were finally ready to check out and their Welfare cards would not work ,waited another 10 minutes with them jabbering back and forth and decided to just abandon my cart and leave ,not worth the wait.
I will try again at another Wally world . |

Re: I couldn't do it!
Andy, I spoke to the vendor I got mine from this past weekend at the show in Raleigh, NC . He had several of those for $5 ea or 2 for $9. He said he will be in Myrtle Beach this coming weekend too. I have my eye on the large just trucks he has. The red/gray and the blue/gray versions. He's holding a set for me. Borrowed pic.

Re: I couldn't do it!
Nice! I missed out on the trucks at MB! He forgot the ones I wanted in the box. Oh well. I'll get them soon enough. I did however pick up a really nice ERTL 58 Apache along with a lot of 1/64th trucks. Funny, I bid on that Hays truck on ebay the week before MB. I didn't get it. I really like that one.
