I haven't looked at one but are the crew cab long box frames and the crew cab cab and chassis frames the same? '81-'91
Thanks, Nate

Re: Crew cab cab & chassis frame vs pickup frame
No the cab and chassis is straight on the back half where a pickups has a curve in it,Then you have the wheel base which the cab and chassis is a longer wheel base then any truck.

Re: Crew cab cab & chassis frame vs pickup frame
I think he's asking about a Crew cab C&C which would have the same wheelbase as a Crew Cab pickup. Model 30943, 164.5"

Re: Crew cab cab & chassis frame vs pickup frame
The crewcab cab and chassis frame and 30 series crewcab pickup frame are the same;both are 56 inch cab/axle.This was always a problem for tow trucks and custom bodies as the reg cab dimension for cab/chassis was 60 inches. To convert a cab/chassis to dually pickup in a crewcab you just need the wide track rear axle.
