obviously the mere mention of 'rare' in the description is worth $2500
a truer description would have read: non-running, very rusty 56 napco truck $1000 OBO even then probably not worth a grand

What Ogre said... + is original V8 truck. - is you will need to find a donor cab especially with the rust above the windshield, in the A pillars floor steps, etc. The NAPCO running gear, if in good shape, is worth 1K. 265 might be the original matching engine, but other then that is less desirable because of no oil filter. Hood trim and v8 emblems have some value if not pitted, but based on location and condition of rest of truck probably not.
