Factory radio folks, an easy question...

I have a Delco AM/FM radio in my '72. The band selector bar is broken off, but I have a new one. Apparently I need to remove the chrome bezel to install the new bar with it's little clip... can I remove the bezel without taking the radio out of the dash? If so, how? I've removed these radios from the dash before, but I really hate working under there... TIA!

In my 70 c20 w/ ac I removed glove box liner for what I think is easiest way to remove and reinstall a factory radio. Still a PITA but not laying on back as much. Thought it might help.
Good luck.
