Brake Hardware
I have a 1970 k20 pickup that I'm replacing the front drum brakes and all the hardware on. Having problems finding hardware specific to the k20. Anyone know of a place I can find these parts, springs, clips, self adjusters, etc.?? Or hardware that would be compatible. I've been told a k5 blazer may be compatible. Thanks for the help.

Re: Brake Hardware
Does it have a 12 bolt? A Dana 60? Or an Eaton rear end?

Re: Brake Hardware
D44 and a 12 bolt out back.
Any local auto parts store will have those brake parts. I have a 1972 GMC with a 12 bolt out back. Bought a kit with all the new springs, clips, adjusters, etc. Also new brake cylinders, shoes, and drums... all at the local auto parts store over the counter. All parts were in stock. Gary

Re: Brake Hardware
Have you tried RockAuto.com You can have a wide choice of parts to choose from and some parts you will find matching part Mfg. to part Mfg form your local parts store against RockAuto's you can save sometimes 50% less. look into Moog frt. end parts like a Pitman Arm for a 70 C10 it was 62.79 (Moog) and local parts stores were in the neighbor hood of $95 - $110.
just my .02 cents |
