I'm not sure what you are going through. But whatever it is I'm glad you can do it with a sense of humor.
Good luck, Matt

Re: Lemons and...

Thanks for the well wishes. It was a craniotomy to remove the first of three brain aneurysms, and it went really well. Was supposed to be a 3-5 day recovery and stay in the hospital, but I am wasn't having any of that. Was admitted Mar 14 at 5:15 am, on the operating table at 7:30 am and out by noon and talking to my wife by 3 pm. They discharged me the next day at 5 pm and we got home at midnight. I have a 3-6 month recovery time but I feel so blessed they caught it in time. They can look at the other two then. I'm just trying to show my Grandson's how to be tough and carry on.

Re: Lemons and...

I'm hopeful they don't have to do the same procedure. The alternate is going in through the femoral artery and working up through the body and then coiling the other 2 so they can't grow any further. But they are reluctant to do any more for at least six months to let things settle down. Something I learned, this is also genetics driven. My Uncle had one, several family members have had one. Now my kids are getting CT scans just in case. So if you have persistent headaches or numbness, please see your doctor. Mine could have burst at any time, and that would have been that most likely. The operation had a 20% chance of stroke, paralysis, or death. But still better odds than dropping dead anytime and anywhere suddenly.
