Talking what's the thead size of the auto radiator line?

I've got to plug the tranny line holes in my radiator hoping someone knows the thread size ?

The line is 5/16 so you need a #5 inverted flare plug. Should be available at any Napa store.

the question was what the thread size was not the line size, , just for anyone else who misreads your reply it does not take a 5/16" threaded plug, back into town I go...................

Sorry to mislead you, but I didn't say the thread size was 5/16, I said the line was 5/16. If you ask for a #5 inverted flare plug, you should get the right thing. I should have qualified it by saying I don't know the thread size. Inverted flare is cataloged by the line size though.

5/16'' inverted flare or tubing plug is 1/2-20 threading
