67/68(?) GMC Crew cab in AZ
I was looking at an eBay ad for a 68 4x4. In the pictures for the ad, there was a picture of this GMC crew cab. I don't know anything about GMC's or crew cabs, but I know several of you guys are interested in both. I am guessing at the year. I didn't do any research, so I am not even sure this truck is for sale. I am assuming the other cars he has pictured in this ad are all for sale. If it is something that interests you, you might be able to check it out before he lists it. Here is a link to the listing. The crew cab is picture number 12

That is a KOOL truck! Could you order one from Chevy back in the day? I've been told they were mostly made for the railroad, forest service etc? Someone enlighten me---I may have a new model to lust!

I would love to have one of those to clip onto the C40-50-60 truck I plan to someday build

Nice Rig, but it's a GMC not a Chevy. Going by the front grille, that is. The crew cab thing has been covered a lot in the past on this forum. Some users knew who the conversion shops were.

Re: 67/68(?) GMC Crew cab in AZ
Looks to be a 3/4 ton truck as well. My 67 3/4 had the white painted grill like the one pictured, but I can't tell if the one pictured is a '67 or not. The rear window looks a bit small, but hard to tell. But with the side marker lights on the bed and the front fender, it most likely is a '68 as listed.

I am thinking with the marker lights, you are probably correct that it is a 68. I should have cropped the picture. The description right under the picture listing $12,000 is for a different truck he has at auction.

The Orange '68 is a nice early run [no White Face, no Nose chrome] truck in my favorite Chevy truck color, except it's an automatic and the deal breaker is the goofy Grant Wheel.
I had one come off in my hands once -- while driving. Back to stock wheel ASAP! Also Bowtie badges on grille and fenders should be red not blue for this period.
