Towing With Axle Flip Leaf Spring C20

I am swapping in a semi-floater 14 bolt with disk brakes out of a 2000 silverado into my '72 C20. I need to weld new mounts on the 14 bolt anyways, and moving the leafs under the axle will get my desired ride height.

I want to still be able to tow my chevelle, but I am hearing varying opinions on all the weight on the U-bolts. If I am not mistaken, the coil spring rear is held by a single U-bolt with the spring on the control arm, so I am inclined to think that I will be fine.

Anybody have any thoughts?
