Thanks, nice looking truck.
Who made the lift kit and what's the ride like? Cheers, Dave. |

My 72, with 33/12.5 15's. This is stock height though (I believe). Not sure if it will help you

Thanks as well, basically the same configuration as mine right now. Just debating, would like a little more clearance with the bigger tires but the 2.5" lift seems a bit more than I want. Dunno but the pics help a lot guys. Regards, Dave.

BFG AT 33-12.50-15s on a 2 inch Lift from Offroad Design.
Big Block in the front. 1 inch Zero Rate Add a Leaves in the Rear with the housing pushed back 1.5 inches. Probably going to swap to a set of HD Rears at some point but this should give you an idea.

Re: Pics of Short Bed K10 with 33s and 2.5" Lift?
Thanks all, appreciate the input here. How does the Skyjacker lift ride? I was amazed at the cost of the lifts only because the last time I looked at one for a Jeep was probably 15 years ago!

The Skyjacker ride quality is not great IMO. It did get a little better when I switched to gas shocks.

Re: Pics of Short Bed K10 with 33s and 2.5" Lift?
Here you go. 2.5" Tuff Country all-spring lift, 33x10.50 BFGs. Man, I wish I had those tires back - can't find another full set of the discontinued A/T's anywhere. Should have put something more basic on there when I sold that truck...
The TC kit rode pretty nicely, considering it's a full-leaf-spring, 44-year-old 4x4... I'd recommend it.

Re: Pics of Short Bed K10 with 33s and 2.5" Lift?
68 K-10, 33x10.5x15 with no lift...
You'll have a hard time finding a lift for your 68, the rear leafs are different than later models, tapered I think... I did an add-a-leaf in the back and planning a zero rate leaf in the front if needed. SHould gain an inch to 1.5" with that setup.
