I think the K20 hound dogs were snoozing on this one

This popped up on Craigslist in California. Kevin (Undertaker72) said it was on a Facebook post for 18K then 14,500 and when I saw it at 12,500 I called and bought it for a lot less.. It's got good options...Cheyenne equipment.. automatic, cold a/c, etc etc. Buddy buckets but not on the spid.
Seller seemed very honest claiming zero rust and sent pics to validate this. I'll know when it gets to SC.

Nice truck. Is that a hickey winch between the front frame rails? Bruce

Rub it in! Ha. I do miss CA. But TX is pretty nice itself. I have to say though - Sacramento alone has had more trucks for sale than TX since I've moved here... I even bought one of em. Nice truck you have there, congrats! - more pics when you can!

Re: I think the K20 hound dogs were snoozing on this one

Seemed lime a good guy .... sent pics of everything i asked for.
He says it was originally a "camper world" truck ???? Had a 1972 slide in camper when they bought it years ago from the original owner and they sold it and cleared the truck.
says he has all the paperwork on it...

I was going to say the same thing Bruce. If it is a Hickey, the cutout looks like it's for the Ramsey worm gear, not the sidewinder, if so, and if it's been labeled from Hickey, it will be only the fourth one I've heard of here.

Beautiful truck. Whereabouts is it from - NorCal? SoCal? The coast or in the mountains?

I'm thinking maybe it's all the farmland down the center of California, where the majority of the farms and farmers lived and worked, on this side of the rockies anyway. Fresno, Modesto, Turlock, all seem to be havens for them as well, right in the middle of the Central Valley. I'm sure GM researched their demographics pretty well.

Re: I think the K20 hound dogs were snoozing on this one

I've got a set of E-350 16x7 wheels that are going to my buddy for powder coating
And hopefully i can round up a nice set of hubcaps, then I'll pull the engine (which was rebuilt
recently) and. paint it the correct color. Haven't decided ifnim gonna keep the buddy buckets
yet but either way I'll have to put the correct seat cover or covers on. And drive the crap out of it.
