1971 chevy signal light problem
All my signal lights and flashers work. High and low beams. My left front signal light stays on all the time but doesn't flash when not selected. The dash board signal for the left turn stays on also. Right signal light works but doesn't show up on the dash. The led is good also. Any suggestions?

Re: 1971 chevy signal light problem
Sounds like you have a burned out left rear turn signal bulb, I know that some of those LEDs are polarity sensitive, you may want to check and see if that is causing the indicator issue with the right signal lamp in the cluster.

Re: 1971 chevy signal light problem
The rear tail light bulbs are good. They are the ordinary twin filament bulb. The front signals are led. As soon as you turn the ignition switch to " on " the front left signal light stays on and the dash indicator. Doesn't flash unless you use the left signal and it flashes as well as the dash indicator. All the signal lights work well except the indication for the right turn signal in the cluster.

Re: 1971 chevy signal light problem
now I re fit the right dash led and it works as well as the right signal light. Everything works perfectly except the left turn signal is always on flashes when you have the left signal on and flashes with the right signal on. All the rears are perfect. I'm tearing my hair out and I CANT AFFORD THAT!!!

Re: 1971 chevy signal light problem
Did you replace the turn signal flasher with a flasher for LEDs?

Re: 1971 chevy signal light problem
Check your signal light grounds. If the signal housing mount gets corroded, it could be your problem.

Re: 1971 chevy signal light problem
Did that fix it? If it doesnt, listen to the guys. Those LEDs can freak a system out, even if everything else works. Switch back to filiment bulbs and see if it fixes the problem. If it does, then its probably the god damn flasher like mentioned.
