Help radiator is a too short.
I am in the middle of my LS swap, and have ordered an Enytropy Radiator with the electric fans. When I went to install the radiator, I found out it was about an inch too short to use my existing brackets. I sent the radiator back to Enytorpy and requested a larger one (said they had two sizes for my truck). After 3 weeks of waiting radiator came in and it was still an inch too short for my stock radiator brackets. I have ordered some brackets from LMC that bolt to the side of the radiator support instead of the top which hopefully can make up the inch of difference. If these don't work, does anyone have an idea as to what I can do?

Re: Help radiator is a too short.
Those will probably work since they are for the shorter 6cyl radiator.

Re: Help radiator is a too short.
Well, got them in and they won't work either, the new brackets are for a radiator shorter than mine. I have bought the top and side mount brackets from LMC, as well as tried the original one piece brace that I took off the truck, nothing fits. Looks like I am going to have to make some brackets or something.

Re: Help radiator is a too short.
Are you working with a 81-87 rad support, LMC part # rad support upper bracket (side mount) LH 32-0942 & RH 32-0943 use with lower rad that do not sit flush rad support light duty Rads.
LMC part # rad support upper bracket (top mount) LH 32-0944 & RH 32-0945 used with tall RADS like the 73-80 heavy duty 305-350-454 two three core ( like GM Bracket ) All tall one will be around 19"H x 28-1/4" W x 1-1/4" D 20-5/8"H x 28-1/4" W x 2-1/4" D All short one will be around 17"H x 28-1/4" W x 1-1/4" D 17"H x 28-1/4" W x 2-1/4" D 2 or 3 core old style copper Rads if you look in the cap area cooling tubes( core) if they are open then it's a true cooling tube if it cap tube it's not a true cooling tube. so it no fluid can go throw it, and it still has three tube. It really only two core Rad IE: two tube but no fluid can go throw it, and it still has two tube. It really only a single core.
