Looking for some bed measurements
I am working on a custom bed and need to know the tail gate measurements along with the amount that the bed sides stike out past the end of the floor. The width that I am working with is 50 inches. the year is mid 50s.

so i now have a tailgate (54-87) 50 3/4 long by 19 1/4 tall.
Who is a good supplier for tailgate hardware? What is the gap at the ends between the gate and bed?
