Nice think I'd just give it a rub down with some scotchbright pads and a coat of semi gloss clear or satin if they even make it in clear, love the look of it now.

"My Ol' '55" as i call it---a song from the Eagles back in the '70's, describes it pretty good. I never was really concerned when I got this truck about it being a "show-stopper" custom, detailed resto or even a hot rod. I just like it taking us back to 1955 when we are out driving it. My wife digs driving the old truck as-is too. Thanks again everyone involved!---DAC

LOL! Thank-you too. Not in your yard in this pic but we were up by Mt. Rushmore today. Notice how the guardrail matches the truck?

Re: April 2016 ToTM - Beat it to Fit, Sorta Paint it to Match
I appreciate the comment! Thanks.
Thank-you too, I'm glad some old survivors are appreciated! Your stepside is a very cool old truck, done on a tight budget like mine! It's kinda funny how the South Dakota 1955 plate looks a lot like your Colorado ones. My sisters live in the Denver area. DAC
