I looking to buy automobilia from Branine Chevrolet, Mulvane, Ks...

They have been out of business for years... My truck came from them... I REALLY am hoping to find any of the original paperwork for my truck... When it was stolen all of the paperwork along with the protect-a-plate and original sales receipts and service receipt, warranty books and all.. So I would just like to have some "stuff"...

Any Help would be appreciated... Thanks... Dan

Dan, will keep an eye out for that sort of stuff for you. I love digging thru the "boxes" of misc. at swap meets for such. never know what you come up with. Also I look for stuff like that at flea markets so will keep you in mind.

I always look for stuff like that from Quality Chevrolet in Wichita and also from Yingling Chevrolet, which was also from Wichita. The Yingling items are REALLY hard to find. My prize find is a Yingling dealer tag frame I picked up off Ebay. Came from San Francisco of all places. They very hard to find, looking for one from Quality Chevrolet if you ever come across such.

There is a Branine Chevrolet in Osage KS.... 866-716-1342

I would call them and see if they're related.... Perhaps they have plate frames that say Branine Chevrolet without mentioning Osage? Maybe he has some stuff stored in storage because it's his family name? I would definitely try.

If I come across anything I'll try to pass it along.

I actually worked at Yingling Chevrolet in 1969-1970... I was 14... worked in the body shop with my uncle and cousin...

Thanks... I am aware of the Osage dealership and once we get the truck on the road and bugs worked out we are planning a road trip there...

I live and work in out of Osage City. Branine is the town Chevy dealership.

I'm still looking also Dan, no luck so far but then I guess that is the thrill of the hunt, huh? Took me a few years to find the Yingling Chevrolet license frame. Never know when you hit a swap meet, garage/yard sale, flea market, etc. what treasures await.

Yeah... it is the hunt... Branine in Mulvane Kansas is where my dad bought my truck...

I have 3/4 of a roll of toilet paper from back in the shop. The only markings are the oily fingerprints of the last wrench who used it

LOL... FRon the back of Branine or Yingling... if it is from Yingling then I definitEly wouldn't want it... I worked there from may of 1968 -September 1969...I was in the Body Shop. .

I know what you mean about wanting the original paperwork. I still have the original paperwork for my grandfather's 1968 truck which I reclaimed after an almost 17 years search. The paperwork was never sent with the truck and it has been in my family's possession all this time. So when I got the truck back the paperwork was reunited with it finally. I will also keep a lookout for these things.

Dan, don't know if you made it to the Sunflower Swap meet during the first weekend of Feb. but I looked while I was there and came up dry. Looked in both buildings, Pavilion 1 and the Hartman arena. Am always looking when in flea markets, swap meets, garage and yard sales, etc. Don't give up, that "stuff" is out there, just gotta' find it.
