Re: you decide please
Do away with the one you show (idiot lights) and get an original factory gauges/tach dash.
Greg.

Re: you decide please
your the one that has to live with it. Aerotruk has the original flavour which looks good and is functional. after that spent money to your hearts content

Re: you decide please
The Aerotruk deluxe dash is fine in fact it preserves the truck. But it depends on what your goals are, do you need the gauges to be spot on if your running more than a stock engine? Do you want a modern engine with gauges to match?

Re: you decide please
I can't vote because I have No idea what the rest of your truck looks like. lol My truck is gonna have a Fairly stock appearance, but alot of unique things added. I've decided to go with this style cluster as it best suits my taste.

Re: you decide please
If you're willing to do the fabrication, wiring, etc., then you can modify the original. Otherwise, going with a modern version from Dakota Digital, and others would be my vote.
Back when I modified mine, there wasn't much in the way of options. Here is what I did with my instrument cluster, using left over gauges, scrap Lexan for a lens, sheet aluminum, and tasking my friend who runs a vinyl lettering and sign business to cut out the numbers and hash marks for me in reverse. ![]()

Re: you decide please
You were able to preserve some of the uniqueness of an original yet modernize it for your application. I like that.

Re: you decide please
Thank you for the help everyone I have decided to save the cash and go with the older cooler one I have. I don't have the gauges that sucks but I don't have a super built motor and I will be adding gauges on a separate mounting. I'm thinking about making a console and adding gauges to it. I will post in my build thread the results on that mod.
