My summer project
After much talk and part collecting ( selling also). I am ready to turn my C20 to a C10 (5 Lug).
I plan on cleaning ,painted the frame. Installing a 3:08 rear end with custom trailing arms and possibly other goodies. Front end disc brakes and new 2.5 drop spindles. Next dropping in a 1996 350SBC ( carb). Picked this up from a truck I was parting out. That's my summer project. I will tell you this that every bolt I have encountered has been hell. All have been cut off or ground down. But I am making progress LOL |

Re: My summer project
Progress.
I decided to go with Master Coat Silver/ Black combo. I liked the paint system. Next time I will buy more foam rollers and use a small brush ( not foam) The foam brushes fell apart quickly with the silver, and the black just eat them up. As for the foam roller,it worked until I started the black. Did not last the entire frame (with silver no problems). Last edited by Born Lucky; 04-18-2016 at 06:38 PM. |
