Rear View Mirror

Fits 1969, 79 and 71. Does not wobble on pivot ball. No fading on mirror glass. Clean and shiny; all you have to do is screw it in. The vinyl part was originally Olive, but was dyed black at some point. $25 shipped. Have several, all in similar condition.

Re: Rear View Mirror

Do you have one that has a Saddle colored vinyl part? I only need that part which would save on shipping.

Re: Rear View Mirror

Jim, is that piece replaceable without taking the mirror apart? I don't have my truck here to look at for reference.

Thanks,
Mark

Re: Rear View Mirror

Mark,

I don't know. Does it pull straight out? Do you have to pull the mirror apart? I'd rather you experimented on an old one of yours!! Shame it broke because it was in great shape.

Re: Rear View Mirror

Jim I could not tell how to replace the lever, do you think it could be epoxied or is it broken into pieces?

Thanks,
Mark

Re: Rear View Mirror

A pic is worth a thousand words. I'll send, or post one. The "wing", if you will, is broken, right at the 90 degree, where the shaft enters the underside of the mirror housing.

Not a problem. Feel kind of like a knucklehead, because I had 5 very nice, sold 2, had a guy come by the house and I sold 2 to him and thought I had you covered, as well.

Re: Rear View Mirror

Jim, I will take it for $20 shipped. If nothing else, I can take the glass out of this one and put it in my original if I can't replace the lever. I will get a postal money order in the mail today. I sent an email to the "Mirror Lady" in PA a couple weeks ago to see about getting mine restored, but got no response.

Thanks again,
Mark
